Reporting to the Operations Director you will bring be responsible for bringing a strategic approach to operational excellence and business growth. This role involves overseeing end-to-end site operations, project estimation, budgeting, and team leadership, ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Business Development: Attract and secure new clients by actively pursuing business opportunities and fostering partnerships to expand the contract portfolio. Site Surveying & Project Estimation: Conduct comprehensive site surveys and audits to prepare accurate project estimates and detailed proposals that ensure projects meet quality and budget expectations. Operational Management: Manage all aspects of daily operations, including labour and site activities, to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work. Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships that enhance revenue growth and client loyalty. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of operatives, driving productivity and ensuring that project goals and client satisfaction are consistently achieved. Safety & Compliance: Establish and maintain safe job sites, perform regular audits, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and compliance. Budgeting & Cost Control: Oversee budgeting, job costing, and expense management to maximize profitability while delivering value-driven service. Strategic Planning & Scheduling: Develop effective schedules for labour and shift planning, including holiday management, to optimize resource allocation and labour costs. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in similar Operations Manager position SSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Strong communication and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Offering Salary £DOE
