Your new role
Working at their head office, you will be part of the management accounting team providing accurate financial information and reporting for the group. Your main duties will include:
1. Assisting with monthly management account closure
2. Balance sheet reconciliations
3. Variance analysis
4. Liaising with various stakeholders and operation teams
5. Resolving PO queries
6. Raising purchase orders for overheads/suppliers
7. Providing various reports and commentary for the Financial Controller
What you'll need to succeed
This is a developmental position, so it is likely you will have started your career in an accounts assistant role, gaining day-to-day transactional accounting experience and be looking for the next step. Looking to complete your AAT/ACCA, you will possess excellent attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines, be proficient in Excel, be confident in communicating with non-finance contacts both internally and externally and, above all, a strong desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.
