Quality Assurance Manager required for a MEP Principal contractor based in Greater Manchester. We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to oversee the management and implementation of business certification schemes, be responsibile for the quality and environmental practices and procedures, and continually improve existing systems to address defect management and avoidance. You will be working for a principal contractor, who specialise in high rise residential projects in city centre locations. Key experience required: Experienced in the construction industry, ideally with new build experience Knowledgeable within ISO 9001 Able to work independently and implement new processes and procedures An experienced quality auditor Experience working with quality standards, namely aware of the build safety act The Quality Assurance Manager will: Implement an ISO 9001 quality management system Review current process, amend and implement within the business Conduct quality audit processes and carry out a site audit Record information and write reports Carry out vetting of supply chain Review training programme and ensure workforce is up to date with training Ensure ISO 9001 is maintained Report to the Technical Director This is a great opportunity to join an established contractor with a stable client base and forward order book stretching 7 years.
