You will be required to work 24 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year (Working Pattern will be spread over 4 days).
Based Militia House, Dumfries, we are looking to recruit a part time Senior Clerical Assistant which will be part of the integrated Business Services Team that provides a full range of clerical and administrative support.
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated and proactive individual to be part of the Regulatory & Statutory Services Hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and progressive team in a fast paced challenging but rewarding environment.
Duties include input, update, and interrogation of data utilising various database systems. General clerical and reception duties associated with an office and customer service environment. You will be required to deal with simple financial transactions.
You will be educated to Higher Grade or hold SVQ Level 2 in related subject.
You must have experience working with members of the public, with a core skill of communicating with clients/customers. You will possess good organisational and communication skills and have previous experience within a busy team environment.
A good knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential, with good knowledge of Dumfries & Galloway’s financial/HR/Performance Monitoring and Health & Safety practices being desirable.
