Fractional CFO, E commerce sector, South Yorkshire
We are looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to join a successful SME in the dynamic e-commerce/retail sector, based in South Yorkshire. This part-time, permanent, Board-level role (3-4 days per month) is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong strategic mindset and a proven ability to deliver transformative results in fast-paced environments.
As a key member of the Board, the Fractional CFO will provide strategic financial guidance to drive growth, stability, and long-term success. This pivotal position will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial health, and supporting the business's ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Offer strategic guidance to the Board on all financial matters, ensuring informed decision-making.
2. Lead fundraising initiatives to secure growth capital.
3. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to optimise performance.
4. Support international expansion.
5. Strengthen financial processes, systems, and controls to enable scalability.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Extensive experience as a CFO, ideally within SMEs in the e-commerce or retail sectors.
2. Proven track record of successful fundraising and securing external finance.
3. Expertise in providing strategic leadership at Board level.
4. Strong understanding of international business operations and market entry strategies.
