We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants in Hull and the surrounding areas to build up our talent pool. As a Teaching Assistant/Tutor, you will be expected to be engaging, helpful, and energetic throughout your roles, bringing an element of charisma to each and every challenge that may appear.
The pay for Teaching Assistants is £15-20 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold a full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils may need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.
Requirements for the role:
1. A solid grasp of the English Language to convey themselves to students.
2. A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.
3. An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
4. Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.
5. Classroom/1-1 teaching experience desirable, as well as knowledge of up-to-date safeguarding training for those in education.
6. An excellent understanding of the SEN curriculum (KS1-2).
7. Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
