What you’ll be doing:
We have a number of exciting opportunities for Qualified Social Workers across our Locality and Hospital Social Work Teams. We are growing the service to support our transformation of Adult Social Care by focusing on prevention and intervention built on a person centred strengths-based approach. Working at the forefront of our vibrant People (Adults) Directorate, you will be vital to delivering the Council’s legislative responsibilities for Slough residents within our diverse community.
You will need to be a qualified Social Worker with the ability, confidence and enthusiasm for working with adults and their families in a hospital or community setting, managing a varied caseload with a mix of complexity. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework in which we work and an ability to work well in multi-disciplinary settings.
