Building Inspector (RBI) Colchester
This role will be covering the Central London area, traveling to London generally one day a week for meetings and inspections. The successful candidate will be working in a team based in Colchester and ideally work from the Colchester office, but for the right candidate remote working is available with attendance in the Colchester office when required (to be agreed).
We are looking for an enthusiastic RBI predominantly working on commercial office fit-out and general refurbishment projects which is the team's core work and specialism.
The team works alongside global leading designers, project managers, developers, and clients including social media and tech giants, world leading financial and legal firms, and government bodies. We are seeking RBIs across all levels who are seeking a new and rewarding career and who enjoy working within a well-structured and amazing team environment. Where required, full support and training will be provided to enable the successful candidate to achieve a registration Class of 3G (if not already obtained).

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
1. Membership of RICS, CABE or equivalent (or qualified by suitable experience), ensuring CPD requirements are met thereafter to broaden and develop skills.
2. Ideally demonstrating compliance through registering as an RBI (all levels will be considered).
3. Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
4. Ability to build relationships with clients and deliver excellent client care.
5. A self-starting attitude and an ability to work independently as well as part of a large project team.
6. Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, development of suitable solutions and the implementation of these solutions.
