Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager you will support the delivery of a structured sourcing and fulfilment strategy targeted to deliver significant efficiencies and cost savings, demonstrating value. The role involves ensuring that sourcing and procurement processes contribute to business success through strategic alignment, efficient use of tools, and the management of supplier relationships. It includes supporting sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, contract negotiation, supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
What you'll do:
Support of RFx activities for both Bid tenders and Projects including creation and issue of NDA's
Support for maintenance of approved supplier list (ASL)
Ensuring category codes are fit for purpose
Responsible for creation of iProcurement strategy
Responsible for Supplier on-boarding and evaluation
Verification and checking of manual / non-catalogue requisitions to create or delegate P/O
Support with resolving supplier payment queries
Support investigations of supplier performance failures and work with SQA team to find resolutions
Support supplier relationship management and develop best-fit business review schedule, in line with supplier classification
Responsible for identification of continuous improvement opportunities
Support the creation and production of procurement reports and departmental metrics
Support completion of Telent Project Lifecycle gateway deliverables in a timely manner Who you are:
This role requires someone with solid procurement experience, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of procurement principles. The candidate must also be detail-oriented, able to handle large data sets with confidence, and accurately analyse and apply procurement-related information.
Key Requirements:
Degree / HND / HNC or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
Or Professional qualification MCIPS
Depth and breadth of experience may be considered where these qualifications have not been obtained
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management approach and skills
Effective prioritisation of workload
Experience of Microsoft Office 365 products especially MS Excel What we offer:
