An exciting opportunity has become available for a flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic senior administrator to join our School Admissions Team.
You will work as part of a team that is responsible for delivery of HCC’s admissions policy in an effective and efficient manner, providing a service to over 40,000 families, 500 Hampshire schools and other Hampshire County Council teams.
You will help to establish, develop, and provide day to day management of administration systems within the School Admissions Team, as well as managing the workload of and supporting a team of admissions staff. You will also provide support for a Senior Admissions Officer with responsibility within the Admissions Team for an area of the local authority’s school admissions function.
An excellent communicator and highly motivated, you will be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, often unsupervised. You will be able to prioritise your workload in order to meet tight timescales associated with the role and be able to work flexibly as part of a busy team. You should also have excellent IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office and an aptitude for working across various software applications.
