What Will I Be Doing?
The purpose of the CNC Milling role is to set and operate CNC machines and equipment within the Milling area. Produce parts to the required drawing and specification in line with UK standards, processes, and accreditations. Work within company procedures to deliver an on-time, cost-efficient, quality product.
Using standardised processes, programs, established tooling, and fixtures, set and operate CNC Milling machines.
Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards, and airworthiness authorities by manufacturing parts to drawings, documentation, routings, and required standards as defined using a variety of production/inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing lifecycle.
Demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours. Ensure documentation/routings are completed accurately and processed correctly in a timely manner.
Play an active part within the team and contribute to the business objectives and continuous improvement philosophies and opportunities.
Adhere to SQCDPI quality requirements and improvements.
Perform other tasks which, from time to time, may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business within the remit of this post.
Support Bench operatives as and when required.Why Us?

What Do You Need from Me?
Apprenticeship within the Manufacturing sector - Aerospace, Automotive, or similar industry (minimum 3 years' experience depending on qualifications).
Experience and familiarity with company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI, or equivalent standards.
Experience of programming (desirable).
Experience of 5S methodology (desirable).
Ability to solve problems
