Brighton & Hove is a city with an acute 'housing crisis', with over 8,000 households on the housing register, 1,800 in temporary accommodation and a serious shortage of affordable homes. The team are supporting the council in developing a programme of estate regeneration looking at opportunties to redevelop some of our homes that are no longer fit for purpose. This is an exciting oppertunity to potentially re-develop some areas of the city and re-imagine our neighbiourhoods. The team also deliver the innovative 'New Homes for Neighbourhoods' programme, with an ambition to build 1000s of new council homes. The programme has been successful and has completed 17 new build projects with more onsite, in planning or at other stages in the programme pipeline. We are looking for highly motivated people with experience in managing and delivering housing and/or regeneration projects to join our dynamic team. You will work with colleagues across the council, our partners and a range of key stakeholders in the city to deliver your projects. Additional information Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
