About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students. This includes supporting with their education, but also their holistic development, such as students’ communication, social skills and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies.
* Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges.
* Collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans.
* Supporting the overall well-being of students and contributing to a positive school ethos.
Desirable experience and qualifications:
* Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
* Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
* Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.
