You will provide effective, caring, and compassionate services to patients working with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to deliver a high standard of care and support to people affected by breast cancer, and to help individuals take control of their own care., With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us. Included within this will be assistance with the navigation of the patient pathway and investigations for all patients as well as those who are under nurse led active surveillance. You will have regular contact with people affected by cancer. This will include support and signposting of patients both face to face and via telephone to ensure effective progress along care pathways in liaison with other colleagues and departments in the hospital.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and articulate with excellent communication and organisational skills. The post holder will also be able to prioritise their workload in order to meet competing demands and they should be able to work well within a team.
