Brook Street Social Care are pleased to be recruiting a new Residential Manager in Carmarthenshire on behalf of a residential care provider for adults with learning disabilities and special needs.

The Role:
As Care Home Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the home and ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations.
The home accommodates up to eight residents. Your role will involve prioritising their care and offer a stable and structured atmosphere. There are no residents accommodated with challenging behaviours which allows for a continued harmonious environment.
You will strive and be able to provide outstanding care while fostering a positive and rewarding workplace for the staff whilst maintain a safe, welcoming, and homely atmosphere, ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld. You will be responsible for leading a team of 12 dedicated team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the care home, ensuring full compliance with CIW regulations and local authority guidelines.
Lead and support a team of care workers, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
Organise staff rotas, ensuring sufficient coverage at all times.
Conduct regular assessments of resident needs, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care and staff performance.
Develop, implement, and regularly review individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Oversee medication administration and ensure all staff receive appropriate training.
Liaise with families, health care professionals, and external agencies to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
Ensure residents have access to recreational activities both within and outside the home.
Manage resident expenditure records in line with audit compliance.
Work alongside the Responsible Individual to maintain full compliance with health and safety legislation.
Collaborate with local authorities to ensure the home operates at full capacity.
Experience:
You must have experience as a Registered Manager in an adult setting.
You must have proven track record of managing a team of care workers.
You must be committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
You must be (or willing to) register with Social Care Wales.
Qualifications:
Health and Social Care, such as QCF Level 5 Health and Social Care in Adults (or an equivalent qualification).

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum.
