Could you be our new Health, Safety & Sustainability Administrator? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team who are based at our Cannon Way site in Dewsbury. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week). We are looking for someone to support the daily management and upkeep of our HS&E databases. You will play a pivotal role ensuring that assessments, health surveillance, training, and other key compliance activities are regularly updated to meet current Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. As the primary point of contact for the department, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, facilitating the smooth transfer of information and providing appropriate recommendations. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive “can-do” attitude. As this is a support function for the Health, Safety & Sustainability team, you should possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate a high level of organization and be confident with your decision making responsibilities. Key activities & responsibilities include : • Training & Compliance: Coordinate HSE training programs, such as first aid courses, and track health surveillance initiatives. • Data & Systems Management: Maintain key databases, dashboards, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date documentation. • Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives: Monitor sustainability data, waste duty of care documentation, and supplier compliance. • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for both internal teams and external regulatory bodies. • Risk Management & Administration: Supporting with risk assessments, managing first aid stock, and ensure workplace safety documentation is well-maintained.
