The Building and Facilities team currently maintain around 1000 buildings as part of the council estate, covering corporate offices, leisure centres, commercial property and buildings & structures of historic importance no day is the same. Covering all things property related the team are responsible for asset compliance, day to day repairs, energy management and capital investment programmes. We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team for an Assets & Compliance Coordinator to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. Responsible for all aspects relating to asset compliance to a large and varied portfolio of land and buildings across the City of Salford. We deal with schools, social care premises, housing buildings, leisure buildings and listed historic buildings, etc. About you We re looking for someone who is highly motivated with a passion for all things assets and compliance, you form part of a multi disciplined team delivering maintenance, installation and compliance works to a wide range of properties throughout the City of Salford. Playing an important role in ensuring Salford City Council remains complaint across a diverse portfolio including clients in the private, education and local authority sectors, you will bring experience of key stakeholder and contractor engagement, asset management system knowledge, and the ability to extract and analyse asset data, including the preparation of reports. Previous experience of working within the property compliance and asset management sector is essential, experience of working with Concerto ( asset management system) or similar systems would be a distinct advantage. About the role The Assets & Compliance Coordinator will support the Building and Facilities Management team and other key stakeholders in the delivery of property compliance and general property and asset data. As a vital role within the team you will be responsible for the recording and updating of asset and compliance data within the councils asset management system whilst coordinating with contractors and service partners to ensure the smooth delivery of planned preventative maintenance programmes.
