Job title: Team Leader Location: Worcestershire and Herefordshire Salary: £32,000 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week, the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends Job type: Permanent Key responsibilities To lead and contribute towards the development of the service provision. To ensure that the service delivers theappropriate levelof staff cover across the area and to be involved in the delivery of the service. Tobe responsible forthe line management of the mental health practitioners, providing regular recorded supervision and annual appraisals. To manage safeguarding and crisis situations in consultation with the staff team, in line with the procedures of Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind. To assist in monitoring the quality of service, maintaining systems which give clear evidence of service development, value and effectiveness, collecting qualitative as well as quantitative data to ensure the highest possible standards of delivery are maintained and all work is completed within agreed timescales. To hold a designated caseload of children, young people and their parents/carers, develop individual packages of support, and reviewing these in line with the protocols of the service. To provide 1-1 therapeutic support to children/young people and/or their parents carers across Worcestershire and Herefordshire face-face, by telephone or web-based dependent on clients needs and wishes, in line with relevant professional skills. The post holder will be required to travel across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, working directly with children, young people, their parents/carers, and professionals, attending meetings, training sessions and forums. Essential requirements A minimum of 2years experience of working with children and young people. A minimum of 2years experience of working in a mental health setting. Management experience. An ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their families. Working knowledge of child and adult safeguarding reporting processes. Professional qualification/Relevant evidenced experience(mental health or related to working with children and young people). A commitment to the participation of young adults and parents/carers in decision-making processes, and in the design and delivery of the services they access. An ability to drive to venues across Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Have a vehicle as a means of transport.
