What will you be doing as a Software Support Specialist?
As a Software Support Engineer you will provide technical support to customers and colleagues via phone, email, and chat. You will troubleshoot and resolve software issues, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth operation of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues.
* Conduct root cause analysis and escalate complex issues as needed.
* Document support interactions and solutions.
* Install, configure, and maintain software products.
* Participate in on-call support rotations.
What are we looking for?
* 2+ years’ experience in software support, development, or QA.
* Proficiency in PHP and AWS (Auction/Private Treaty software).
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience with databases, SQL, and service desk systems (e.g., Jira).
* ITIL certification and cloud experience are a plus.
This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work between home and our Gosforth Office.
