The hospital car park service provides a high profile/visible car park service to patients, staff, and visitors. The car park service responds to all car park-related issues and maintains a high standard of customer care.
Managing the car parks on a day-to-day basis, in line with the Trust’s car park policy, thus ensuring clear access is maintained for emergency services and that infringements of the Trust’s car park policy are dealt with and reported in the appropriate way.
To act at all times in a manner that contributes to a positive image of the Trust, providing, as required, appropriate help, information, or other assistance to all site users.
To link with all site users (face-to-face) to ensure full understanding of the parking options and restrictions. At times this will require tact and persuasion, and there may be barriers to understanding or resistance to adherence. In order to provide the fullest information, the post holder is expected to acquire a good appreciation and awareness of other roles and activities which interface with their own role.
To assist site users (face-to-face) in assessing the options available as there are multiple options for most site users. Some users will need to be guided to the best course of action by looking at all their individual requirements and matching these to the Trust facilities.
