As Warehouse Admin/Materials Assistant you will be a key member working with the Procurement and Warehouse Team of NOV Hydra Rig. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the role will be involved with the inventory management across all three locations, along with giving valuable assistance to the procurement team.
The role will require a flexible and motivated individual who can think ahead and act quickly within a busy working environment.
Tasks will consist of, but are not limited to: issuing components to work orders, processing purchase order receipts, creating purchase order drawing packs, uploading paperwork to the network drives, and expediting purchase orders.
This role will require a person with excellent communication and coordination skills, who will engage and develop relationships with external suppliers and intercompany Sales, Engineering, Projects, Operational Management, Production Staff, Quality control, Assembly staff, Stores personnel, and Logistics.
The quality of your information and communication will improve the delivery of goods through the supply chain, supporting the site in maximizing overall on-time delivery performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project specific:
* Receive purchase order items into our ERP System.
* Issue bills of materials for picked parts to the relevant work orders.
* Request inventory costs to be set.
* Create PDF Drawing packages for purchase orders and release to the procurement team.
* Transfer paper documentation from files onto network drives.
* Process inventory stock takes carried out by the warehouse team.
* Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by the Stores Supervisor, Materials Manager, or any other member of the management team.
Other:
* Actively participate in training as required.
* Ensure that all statutory and regulatory safety and environmental requirements are adhered to in line with company procedures and policies.
* Ensure all company policies surrounding data control, health & safety, quality requirements, and housekeeping are met.
* Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
* Be fully aware of personal workload, prioritise, and organise to ensure deadlines are achieved.
* Travel when required as dictated by business need.

Quality Essential Qualifications:
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Experience:
* Experience within the procurement, warehouse, and inventory management environment.
Skills, training or special knowledge:
* Experience of working to ISO accreditation standards.
* Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and department/area work instructions.
Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area.
Training:
Participate in training where required.
