Role: EA to CEO - 12-month FTCLocation: London Hybrid Working: 4 days in the office per weekHours: 9am-6pmSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 (DOE)Start: May (to allow for a handover with the current EA)We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Executive Assistant to provide 12 months of maternity cover for the CEO of a leading global renewable energy company. The CEO is a highly respected and approachable leader with a demanding schedule. As his right-hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring his day runs smoothly, prioritising his time and managing multiple high-level responsibilities across the business.This is more than a traditional EA role – you’ll be the CEO’s trusted gatekeeper and key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will also be involved in various strategic projects and work closely with the Executive team. If you're a proactive, dynamic, and highly organised professional, we want to hear from youWhat you'll do: Ensure the CEO’s inbox is efficiently managed and that all expenses are handled promptly and accurately. Prioritise and manage the CEO’s demanding schedule to ensure time is used effectively. Book and coordinate complex travel arrangements Organise quarterly board meetings, managing logistics for international attendees. This includes booking travel, preparing materials, and overseeing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of board packs. Update and refine PowerPoint presentations for board meetings, internal communications, and events. Act as a liaison between the CEO and the Executive team, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up on key initiatives. Oversee various internal projects and deadlines, liaising with different teams to ensure targets are met. Be the first point of contact for internal and external queries relating to the CEO’s time, priorities, and commitments. Lead the implementation of initiatives like sports and social committees, team lunches, and global company conferences. Coordinate company events Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure the CEO is well-prepared for press releases, media opportunities, and public speaking engagements. Manage various additional projects, such as producing a monthly internal company newsletter. Who you are: Proven experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally in a fast-paced, global organisation Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities efficiently.
