Description Senior ARB Teaching Assistant 30 hours per week x 44.263 total paid weeks per annum (term time only) £22,418 - £25,755 per annum (this salary to be proportionately reduced to reflect total paid weeks £15,430-£17,727 or £11.61-£13.35 per hour) We are seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant to work in our exciting new Area Resource Base. The purpose of the ARB is to create a nurturing base of learning excellence for high need students with an EHCP. The successful candidates will work under the guidance of the ARB Lead and will take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social and physical needs of the students. The role is a regulated activity; the successful applicant will be working with children on a daily basis. Applicants will need: • experience of working with students with high level SEN needs • an ability to work with children on a daily basis that have a high level of additional needs, including personal care • a desire to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with additional or complex needs • the confidence to work with initiative, and lead groups of students under the guidance of teaching staff • positivity, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.
