Country Director Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is looking for two Country Directors to lead and develop one of our overseas programmes, ensuring our aviation ministry delivers maximum impact to remote and isolated communities. Location: International (based on organisational needs) The Role As a Country Director, you will oversee the leadership, strategy and operations of one of our country programmes, ensuring our aviation ministry is aligned with our Christian ethos.Specifically, you will develop and implement a clear ministry impact plan, leading your team to deliver tangible benefits to isolated communities while fostering strong internal and external relationships to advance our mission.You will also mentor and support staff to enable them to flourish professionally and spiritually, while raising up future leaders.Additionally, you will:- Evaluate the impact of our services and lead continuous improvement initiatives- Identify and implement capacity-building projects for national aviation professionals- Oversee resource management, budgeting, and planning processes About You To be considered as a Country Director, you will need:- Experience of leading bible study, prayer and other Christian faith-based worship- Demonstrated leadership experience in an international, cross-cultural context- Experience managing service delivery and developing strategic partnerships- Experience with project management, evaluation and learning (PME&L), and strategic planning- Experience of working in a developing country- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills- The ability to adapt to challenging environments and lead through change- Fluency in spoken and written English- A university degree or equivalent qualification or experiencePlease note, you will need to be a current UK passport holder and if successful we will need to obtain appropriate work permits for the country the position is based.
