Job Summary : In this newly created role, we are looking for an Internal Development Executive to join our People Team supporting the coordination and delivery of our internal development framework and delivery model. We want our teams to be able to drive the processes and initiatives they need to in order to be successful, doing this in a collaborative way that brings others with them. We have centralised processes or systems where there are collective cross team or organisational needs and where these exist, they need to work to support local initiatives and activities. As the business continues to grow, we are looking to implement effective tools and processes, coordinated through a new Learning Management System (LMS) that provide development support to our people, helping them to connect with the business’ purpose and in the delivery of their roles. In addition, there are cross business development needs we will support through the People team. Key Responsibilities: Coordination of our internal development systems and processes, enabling our functional teams and internal development leads to enact their training and development plans, host materials, build individual development plans and track progress. Coordinate and support the delivery of central development initiatives and programmes, such as our leadership programme, internal apprenticeship processes and central onboarding programme. Deliver the implementation of our chosen LMS System and related processes, as part of a cross functional delivery project. Track and report on Internal Development metrics and support internal communication of our progress and activity. Maintaining quality development materials and information; assisting business functions in creating, hosting, and maintaining their training and development plans and materials. LMS Management: Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is up-to-date and user-friendly. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the development processes and implement necessary changes, in collaboration with key stakeholders. About You – What are we looking for in this role: Ideally you will have had previous experience in managing and coordinating multiple training and development programmes. Effective planning, organisational and project management skills to enable you to coordinate multiple tasks and projects and ensure stakeholders are aligned and engaged to support delivery. Great communicator both verbally and in writing, ability to engage and make it simple for others to engage and understand. Strong attention to detail, creating trusted sources of information and support. System orientated approach, likes tech and curious about how we can utilise advances in tech to solve business needs. Previous experience of using and administering Learning Management Systems would be a real advantage. Effective problem-solving skills, proactive and takes initiative in identifying issues and having a solutions focus. A great collaborator, wants to and has proven abilities in working well with others, understanding others needs to determine effective solutions that deliver great outcomes.
