SEMH Science Teacher
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH provision based in Nottingham. The school is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Science Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be a committed professional who will help provide a nurturing environment for children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The role will focus on the planning and delivery of suitable science lessons for children aged 7 - 13 who have social, emotional, and mental health issues, and will, therefore, help to create an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with children with SEMH, or a strong passion to make a difference in the lives of children with additional needs
* Degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
* A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs of pupils
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
* The right to work in the UK
