HR Assistant - 3 Month Temp Contract
Have you got previous HR experience and are looking to work for a well-established company with an immediate start in December 2024?
This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a company based in central Brighton for a temporary contract of 2-3 months, with a chance for the role to become temp to perm for the right candidate. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm and every Friday 9am-4pm. Who doesn't like an early finish on a Friday?
The salary is between £28k - £30k (DOE) and the role offers hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home. Please note there is no parking available; however, the company is based close to train and bus routes.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* First point of contact for all employee queries via telephone and email
* Assisting with recruitment for the company, such as creating job adverts and arranging interviews
* Onboarding new staff and offboarding leavers
* Completing Right to Work Checks
* Booking meetings, creating agendas, and writing up minutes
* Following HR Policies & Procedures and supporting management with disagreements, complaints, and grievances for staff
* Reviewing and updating HR/Payroll policies and procedures when required
* Maintaining records and letters/document templates on the HR system
* Organising events for the business and supporting with other ad hoc tasks when required
To be successful in this position, you must have previous HR experience, with excellent organisation and communication skills. You must be available to start immediately or within 1 week's notice.
