Support Worker British Sign Language Required - Independent Living

Hourly Rate: 14.54
Full-Time - 24/7 Shift Patterns - Days, Nights, Weekends

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider offering Independent Supported Living services to adults with physical and/or learning disabilities. If you're looking for meaningful, person-centred work where your compassion and skills are truly valued, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Support individuals with personal care needs, household tasks, and everyday life skills.
Promote choice, dignity, and independence, helping people lead active, healthy, and socially engaged lives.
Assist with mobility, communication, medication, and community activities.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and landlords to ensure holistic, high-quality support.
Maintain accurate daily records using digital tools e.g. "Nourish".
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control best practices.
Actively support new staff and contribute to a positive team environment.What We're Looking For:
Essential:
BSL - British Sign Language Qualification minimum Level 1
Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Empathetic, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Willing to work varied shifts early/late/night/weekends
Strong organisational and IT skills
Experience supporting adults with disabilities
Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and medication procedures
Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate
Experience with moving and handling procedures
