Job Advert: Temporary Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading organisation in Newbury, is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team for a 4 - 6 week contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and customer-focused team. Working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, £13.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
1. Process sales orders and ensure the smooth flow of operations
2. Communicate with both internal and external customers through various channels
3. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times
4. Resolve customer queries in a timely manner
5. Collaborate with other departments to identify alternative solutions for time-critical queries
6. Handle quotations and manage monthly equipment rental schedules
7. Work alongside other departments to meet special delivery requirements
8. Log inbound calls and customer issues
9. Monitor and maintain automated ordering systems
10. Aim to meet and exceed service levels and key performance indicators
The main function of the role is to complete order queries, check availability for future requests, and manage the logistical movements of loan kits while adhering to regulatory requirements. You will also respond to email queries, manage reports, and handle invoice/credit requests related to the original orders.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong problem-solving abilities
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
5. Proficient in using computer systems and software
6. Attention to detail and ability to multitask
