Job Description As a CAD/BIM Modeller/Technician you will be an integral member of the team as it grows. You will be required to support the engineering teams in current commissions which may be 3D or BIM Level 2. We are looking for someone who will take this challenge head on, be part of a dynamic team with big ambitions. We will be looking to provide capabilities across light, heavy and metro rail systems and work alongside developing signalling and track teams. The CAD/BIM Modeller/Technician plays a critical role within the Engineering Directorate, focusing on the production and coordination of high-quality BIM models and ensuring their alignment with project standards and the BIM Execution Plan. Key Responsibilities : Assist in the delivery of projects from technical design to construction stage Utilise Civils3D for detailed model creation and documentation, ensuring models are fully coordinated and clash-free Lead the production of high-quality detailed construction drawings for specific elements of railway station projects, ensuring integration with overall project models Support and liaise with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager and wider project team in the implementation of deliverables adhering to specified project standards and to facilitate issue resolution Assist in the maintenance of the project's CDE, ensuring accurate and timely information flow and adherence to data management standards Participate in quality assurance checks of drawings to ensure they meet the project's accuracy, detail, and information requirements Assist in monitoring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards, contributing to regular reports on BIM deliverable status. Work closely with other disciplines to ensure drawings/ models are integrated and coordinated efficiently, attending regular coordination meetings as necessary Provide technical support and guidance to project team members on drawing and BIM-related issues, promoting best practices in model creation and management
