Teacher of Digital Learning (Full-Time)

Digital Learning Teacher and subject specialist - 1.0 FTE from September 2025
We seek an outstanding, engaging, reflective and inspirational teacher with experience of teaching Digital Learning, to join our exceptional team. With a love of innovation and a vision for the subject, compassionate towards children and a willingness to embrace the busy life of a Prep School, the successful applicant will be a first-rate educator with excellent subject knowledge. We are looking to build on the successes we already have and to promote technical innovation further.
The curriculum from Year 1 is very progressive, practical and advanced, with programming, coding (e.g. Raspberry Pi), lego robotics, animation and IT skills taught throughout the school.
Online safety is embedded at all levels. Creative, investigative and problem solving skills will be promoted and developed.
The role reports to the Senior Deputy Head. The successful applicant will collaborate with Senior Prep colleagues, the Primary Years team, and fully support the philosophy of the IB and PSB.
The Digital Learning Teacher will be expected to teach up to 22 periods a week (Year 1 to 8), plus cover and duties as required by the Deputy Heads. The Digital Learning Teacher will support the school’s digital strategy which includes Google Classroom and 1:1 devices for staff and students from Year 3 upwards. They will support staff and lead inset sessions.
Digital Learning at St George’s is very strong. The school has a well equipped Digital Learning Lab (completely refitted in September 2023), and a Music Technology Studio.
