The role of the European Visual Office (EVO) team is to provide guidance, coordination and leadership on behalf of our HQ in Suwon and in support of our subsidiaries across Europe. The team is working very closely with our internal partners and is the central team driving the localisation of the global sales and marketing strategy for our TV/AV business. EVO focuses on the retail and online channels to deliver the sales results through excellent execution of the consumer proposition and is structured into 2 areas: Commercial Management & Product Business Management. Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities eStore Drive the eStore sales strategy for TV/AV through close collaboration with EO/HQ/subs. Lead Monthly Committee Forum presenting important metrics, successful strategies and growth initiatives to support eStore targets. Be the main central PIC to own the Online GTM strategy delivering YoY growth in our Pre-order quantities. At the same time, ensuring alignment of a premium execution across EU. Create a European online promotional roadmap for local execution working closely with the PM and Marketing Teams to mitigate risks in the MP. Improve the visibility of crucial metrics such as revenue, mix, conversion, and traffic. Analyze monthly performance and compare it to targets. Identify successful strategies and build a platform for sharing knowledge, standard methodologies, and sales tools with local teams. Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure that all central initiatives are visible to subsidiaries. Develop NBDB (Never been done before) initiatives to drive commercial innovation through our eStore and gain valuable insights. Pure Players/Amazon Support QBRs and strategic discussion with Amazon including subsidiary KAMs to ensure Pan EU Amazon PICs aligned on growth opportunities and initiatives. Improve visibility of critical metrics with the assistance of a junior team member. Implement the European Joint Business Plan in collaboration with the local teams, ensuring alignment, reviewing progress, and supporting corrective actions. Drive alignment in local promotional and commercial plans across countries as required (e.g. align Prime Day offerings, T&Cs) with full post campaign analysis. Other Lead all aspects of the evaluation of competitor strategies and performance within channels (pricing, distribution, mix, sales initiatives) and make recommendations to ensure Samsung out performs the competition. Have a consolidated central overview of total and online market forecast Support and mentor junior member of the team during yearly placement. Analyze subsidiary progress and results, present findings to Samsung leadership, and contribute to developing the overall business strategy. Coordinate detailed yearly strategy decks to be presented with a clear vision for the coming year. What We Need For This Role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Proven experience in a commercial role – ideally in a multi-cultural / Pan-European environment. In-depth knowledge of critical metrics that impact performance Excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate numbers to make commercially valid proposals. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills are required. Strong communications skills; confidence in delivering presentations and arguments to both operational and senior levels. Networking with various international cultures and having strong management skills with customers and partners is essential for success. The interview process A two-stage process: First stage will be a competency based interview, with line manager Michael Wakefield (Commercial Lead). Second stage is a presentation based on a defined task and data set, followed by an interview, with both Michael Wakefield and head of the EVO team, Jose Barreiro-Lopez (VP).
