I am working with a well-established professional services firm that is looking to add an experienced Trusts Manager to its growing team. The Role:
As a Trusts Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team, working alongside experienced professionals within a wider Private Client division. This role is well-suited to someone with a strong background in trust matters, excellent technical knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of trust matters of varying complexity, ensuring compliance and best practice.
* Handling IHT, CGT, and Income Tax in relation to trust management.
* Overseeing the registration of trusts, preparation of Trust Accounts and Estate Tax Returns.
* Assisting in the investment of trust funds and liquidation of trust assets.
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Trusts Team to ensure smooth operations and ongoing development.
What They Are Looking For:
* Experience handling Trust matters, including tax-related aspects (IHT, CGT, and Income Tax).
* Background in a legal or professional services environment (preferred).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* A qualified solicitor, ACA, or AAT (preferred but not essential).
