A motivated dynamic professional with excellent interpersonal skills, who will liaise with both the sales and technical team to deliver quotations to customers, offer estimates and collaborate with purchasing to ensure all the documents are correct and ready for the client to go ahead with a purchase. This role will require a professional with a keen eye for detail who will work with the customer to provide innovative solutions.
Your main objective will be to provide comprehensive detail and costing within specified deadlines, meeting all essential client requirements. Primary Functions:
1. Creating solutions from product range for the client base
2. To prepare all costing and pricing aspects of sale
3. To support the technical and sales teams on costing aspects
4. To support the bid teams on costing aspects and ensure details of the bid are accurate
5. Turn arounds on SLAs
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Deliver quotations to customers within the agreed-upon timeframes.
2. Communication with clients.
3. Offer customers accurate lead time estimates.
4. Collaborating with internal departments.
5. Ensure that customers have all the necessary documentation to proceed with their orders.
6. Follow up on existing customer quotes, address any questions or concerns.
7. Along with any ad-hoc tasks that arise.
8. Identifies material and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.
9. Compute costs by analysing costs vs. client requirements.
10. Answer questions and provide updates based on requirements.
11. Lead cost estimation activities for changes discussed with the customer during negotiation phase and update the cost commitment.
12. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
13. Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
14. Transfer tender costing data to Project.
15. Provide all costing and pricing deliverables on time.
16. Accuracy and consistency of cost commitment for tender submittal and for tender negotiation.
17. Clarify the clients' needs and expectations.
18. Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.
Experience:
Experience in Security or allied industry. Knowledgeable of Costing, in similar industry.
