Technical Support Engineer
Location: Stroud - Permanent - Fulltime - 7:30-16:00, early finish Friday - Salary DOE
My client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to be a key component of the technical team, supporting numerous areas of the business including production, quality, and the laboratory. You will provide technical, practical, and admin support.
The Role:
1. Create process data cards for the treatments and paint facilities
2. Support the technical team to understand deliver requirements
3. Actively support operations and laboratory with developing and implementing processes and procedures
4. Maintain technical and quality documentation
5. Support ongoing continuous improvement activities
6. Support a strong safety culture
7. Audit company processes and operating procedures
The Person:
1. Hold a relevant technical qualification (Science/Chemistry) to A level standard AND/OR at least three years' experience
2. Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative
3. Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
4. Understanding of Microsoft Office and Manufacturing systems
