The Role
Legend is hiring for a Content Editor, reporting directly to one of our Senior Content Editors. Bring your content writing and editing experience to create engaging content for our Canada sites. You’ll play a key role in shaping content that captivates, informs, and converts.
This is more than just editing—it’s about storytelling, optimisation, and audience connection. You’ll collaborate with some of the sharpest minds in Content, SEO, and Product to level up our editorial output and help us dominate the iGaming space.

Your Impact:
* Editing, Proofreading, Writing & Publishing: Write new, and optimize existing, content to make it engaging for our Canadian audiences.
* SEO Optimised Content: Producing optimised content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
* Audience Engagement: Use your auditing skills and keen eye to maintain content freshness and quality. You’ll be empowered to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging our iGaming audience and expanding our reach in the market.
* Self-Development: Work as part of a high-performing team and set personal development goals to continually grow your own skill set.
* Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams in the company, including Country Managers, Product, UX Design, and Engineering.
* Leadership: Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience as a Content Editor or Content Writer role for English speaking markets. You have been responsible for editing, optimising and publishing web content using CMS tools (for example, WordPress).
* Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success. Experience with tools like SEMRush or AHREFs.
* Improvement mindset. Proven experience publishing content at pace to improve content freshness and content quality.
* Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
* Be self-motivated, imaginative and confident in working on your own initiative and with autonomy.
* Team player mentality. We like to work with friendly people who thrive when working collaboratively.
* Bonus Points – Experience in French content creation would be an epic addition to our team.
The Interview Process:
* 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
* 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior Content Editor and Content Manager (1 hour video via Zoom)
* 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task
* 4th: Final interview with our team, Content Manager and SEO Specialist (1 hour video via Zoom)
