Shift - 4on 4off Days We are looking for skilled HGV mechanics to service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on airline equipment and upload inspection findings and job details into the companies fleet management system and may be required to respond to out of hours service requests. Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using advanced diagnostic tools. Prepare vehicles for MOT tests, ensuring compliance with DVSA standards. Complete accurate service records, job cards, and other required documentation. Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure the quality and safety of all vehicles. Collaborate with drivers and fleet managers to report and resolve any vehicle issues promptly. Keep workshop tools and equipment in good working order and report any maintenance needs. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Stay updated on the latest technical advancements and attend training sessions as required. Qualifications Candidate requirements A good level of mechanical/electrical engineering experience as required. An accredited qualification in the functional area advertised is required. In possession of at least three GCSEs / O Level or Leaving Cert (and equivalent). Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays). Physically fit Able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment. A full valid UK driving license.
