Graphic Designer
JFA Medical is a rapidly growing company which has recently acquired Hangerworld. With intentions to expand even further, the successful applicant will be a key asset to our growth.
This rewarding role requires a passionate graphic designer with an eye for marketing, package and product design to a high standard. Our graphic designer will work alongside our in-office product managers and oversee a product brief to completion; from designing innovative branded packaging to producing eye-catching marketing visuals through photography and liaison with CAD render artists.
February 17th 2025 START DATE.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
1. Collaborating with skilled creatives in the Product Management Team to ensure a consistent vision and branding across the business.
2. Working closely with in-office product managers to ensure the brief is met.
3. Designing packaging and marketing visuals for two rapidly growing businesses.
4. Amending designs according to the input of Product Managers.
5. Working alongside a CGI Designer to see concept designs through to production.
6. Taking professional photography of our new and existing products for marketing purposes.
7. Playing a key role within the business as a driver of sales due to design work.
8. Ability to view rewarding sales data due to one’s creative input and designs.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum 2 years of graphic design experience.
2. Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
3. Excellent portfolio of design work to exemplify one’s creativity and experience.
4. Ability to work alongside in-office product managers to amend and perfect designs.
5. Eligible for full-time UK employment.
6. Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales is not a requirement.
DESIGN TASK:
Design Task: Create a New Brand and Packaging Concept for a tube of toothpaste
Your task is to conceptualize and design an entirely new brand and packaging concept for a tube of toothpaste. This is a comprehensive task that requires creativity, market understanding, and strategic thinking. Here's what we're looking for:
1. Brand Development: Create a new brand identity for a toothpaste line, including a brand name, logo, tagline, and a brief explanation of the brand's core values, mission, and target audience.
2. Packaging Design: Design the packaging for a toothpaste under this new brand, considering how it communicates the brand's values, appeals to the target audience, and differentiates itself from competitors.
3. Visual Appeal: Utilize engaging colors, typography, and graphics that resonate with the brand.
4. Functionality: The packaging must be functional and provide essential information.
5. Innovation: Challenge conventional packaging designs creatively.
6. Brand Story: Include a brief narrative or story that encapsulates the brand's essence.
7. Market Positioning: Explain how this new brand would be positioned in the market, identifying the target demographic, potential competitors, and where it fits in terms of price and quality.
8. Mockups or Prototypes: Create mockups or prototypes of the packaging, either digitally or physically, providing visuals that show different angles and details.
9. Submission Guidelines: Submit your new brand concept and packaging design in PDF along with an explanation of your choices and any additional materials that show your design process.
