Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Support students with SEN throughout the school day, ensuring their well-being and progress.
* Assist with student administration, helping track and report on individual learning goals.
* Guide students through their day, offering tailored support to ensure a positive, focused learning experience.
* Behaviour management: Help foster a safe and respectful environment, supporting students with appropriate strategies.
* Be an advocate for the students' needs, providing a caring, supportive presence when required.
What we're looking for:
* A graduate in Psychology (preferred) or another relevant subject, or significant experience working with students with SEN, in schools or alternative provisions.
* Experience or understanding of behaviour management strategies.
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive individual, dedicated to supporting the well-being and academic development of students.
* Ideally, previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
* Commutable to Rochester, Kent.
