This might include devising and running events and activities, and creating interpretive displays and other ways of bringing the place, and its stories, to life for everyone who comes here.You'll role model excellent customer service ensuring that visitors expectations are met. As a team leader you will coach, train and support your team so that they are confident in achieving in their goals. You'll focus on growing support through fundraising and membership, engaging visitors with the work that we do, and inspire them to support.Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place, you’ll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property are clear and consistent.You might be supervising and supporting volunteers and organising rotas. You’re likely to be checking standards of presentation on site, or helping to write for our web pages. You'll act as Duty Manager, ensuring a smooth daily operation of the site and will be responsible for responding to incidents or visitor reports.
