The Recruitment Specialist will work within designated geographical areas to work with Recruitment Team Leads to deliver the recruitment plans. Liaising with Recruitment team members and the Deputy/Head of Resourcing to deliver to the agreed workforce plan ensuring a cost-effective service, operating within employment legislation, Trust policies, procedures, and best HR practice, leading the team to provide high levels of customer service at all times.
This role will be covering Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk with the need for ability to travel across all counties, with an office site in Norwich or Chelmsford.

This is an opportunity for you to build your portfolio experience within an HR/Resourcing environment, working with managers and staff side colleagues to ensure that the Trust has a fair and equitable process in place and complies with best practice.
This will involve providing HR advice where required relating to the recruitment and on-boarding process and relevant employment law and legislation.

The post holder will lead on the day-to-day management of local recruitment within designated geographical areas for the Trust. They will work with stakeholders to deliver recruitment plans to provide the right workforce required by EEAST to deliver excellent patient care and meet the regulators' requirements. This includes the development of new sources of staffing. They will research, develop, and manage attraction activities to target candidates including recruitment campaigns, working with colleagues and external partners including Higher Education providers to deliver against the workforce plan; ensuring at all times that the essential requirements of safe, legal and values-based recruitment are met in a timely manner with a customer-focused approach.
The post holder will lead on ‘bulk’ recruitment for A&E Operations working closely and collaboratively with the Recruitment Team to ensure delivery of a high quality, customer-focused recruitment and selection service to managers and staff within the Trust in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, NHS Employers Standards, employment legislation and national policy.
Manage workload effectively within an often-pressured environment and ensure all deadlines are met despite competing and challenging deadlines. There will be a frequent requirement for concentration, coupled with an unpredictable work pattern, that will be subject to regular interruptions and queries, that may require a change of direction and workload to meet new or conflicting priorities.
