Lead a team of close to 300 people, and will be responsible for the safe, sustainable and effective delivery of Estates and Facilities services to the Trust. This includes leading the senior management team to develop strong cross-cutting procedures, team-working and culture to maximise overall impact and well-being of the wider Estates team.
To lead the development and implementation of the Trust's Estates Strategy to ensure we plan ahead for and finance the built environment we need to support the Trust's emerging clinical models and transformation plans.
Responsible for ensuring that the Trust meets its statutory and mandatory obligations concerning the Estates it owns and occupies.
Responsible for the effective performance and statutory compliance of all building services, equipment, structures and fabric to meet the Trust's strategic aims.
Accountable for all Estates records and Asset register information for the Trust's Estates.
Responsible for identifying, monitoring, recording and reporting risks associated with the Trust estate and devising and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
Responsible for input and support to wider Trust teams for business cases comprising of estate aspects.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate leases and licenses are in place for all property relating to the Trust and/or the provision of Trust services. Review regularly to ensure provisions are fit for purpose and protect the Trust's interests, staff, patients and visitors.
Lead the Trust's interactions with the Integrated Care Board and other partners, acting in collaboration across the Integrated Care System.
