JOB: Human Resources Administrator - Part time (16 to 20 hours per week which can be flexible hours to suit)
STATUS: Part time Permanent
LOCATION: Bordon, Hampshire
SALARY: GBP22,000 to GBP26,000 (pro-rata) - on maximum 20 hours per week this would work out at just under GBP14k a year
My client is seeking to employ a permanent, part-time Human Resources Administrator to work from their manufacturing facility in Bordon.
With CIPD Level 3 (or above), you will have a good knowledge of employment law and possess clear, accurate, and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), you will have the ability to work well under pressure and possess great organisational and planning skills.
You will be dealing with sensitive and confidential information and have the ability to interact effectively and build relationships at all levels. Previous HR experience and knowledge of HR processes and procedures is preferred.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing efficient administration support and excellent service to both internal and external customers.
2. Involvement in recruitment and selection; drafting and displaying internal adverts, and working with external recruitment agencies, arranging shortlisting and interviews.
3. Collating and distributing interview packs and booking interviews and meeting rooms as required.
4. Conducting pre-employment checks, medical questionnaires, and obtaining references.
5. Issuing offer letters, new starter packs, and contracts of employment accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Updating systems, recording all sickness, and ensuring that return to work documentation is completed by the appropriate manager.
7. Tracking maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave requests, and recording and reporting family leave.
8. Preparing HR communication and announcements for the Employee notice board, ensuring HR notices are up to date and accurate across the site at all times.
