With supervision and support, you will work towards autonomously undertaking assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with Tuberculosis (TB) including both latent and active stages and other mycobacterial diseases. You will acquire the skills and knowledge to be an accountable person, responsible for managing practice, using an enhanced level of professional accountability, autonomy and judgement for complex decision-makingwithin the TB Service, working across primary and secondary care settings; developing an advanced level of professional accountability and autonomy. Through training, you will develop the ability to work autonomously, using enhanced clinical knowledge and skills, underpinned by theory and experience, to holistically assess patients with often complex conditions, using a range of methods across the specialist service.
