As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Account Manager to join their team.
Role Overview:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with vendors and customers. The role requires a proactive and strategic approach to achieving sales targets and driving customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve monthly and annual gross profit (GP) targets set by the business.
* Develop a full understanding of all accounts, while creating and executing growth plans within each account.
* Continuously hunt for new prospects within key growth markets and technologies.
* Foster strong working relationships with other departments to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
* Support vendor & commercial-led initiatives and activities as required.
* Take advantage of and implement learnings from all education and training opportunities provided by the business and vendors.
* Collaborate with management to ensure personal and professional objectives are met.
* Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term business plans in alignment with company goals.
* Maintain an organised and structured approach to account management.
* Meet all base role metrics and KPIs.
* Competently articulate and demonstrate the company’s value proposition.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in an account management, sales, or business development role within the technology sector.
* Strong understanding of enterprise technology solutions, including server, storage, and infrastructure products.
* Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Knowledge of CRM systems and data-driven decision-making processes.
