Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to KS3 (Years 7-9) and KS4 (GCSE) students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, the ability to engage diverse learners, and a commitment to helping students achieve their best in maths—whether for foundation understanding or higher-tier exam success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for KS3 and KSSE (GCSE) students.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and high achievers.
* Monitor progress through assessments, feedback, and targeted interventions.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams (AQA/EDEXCEL/OCR) with a focus on problem-solving and fluency.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and resilience in maths.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental resources.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
* Proven experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 (UK curriculum).
* Strong knowledge of GCSE exam boards and assessment criteria.
* Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods.
