Therapies & INTs Central Admin Team - Band 3 Administrative Assistant Permanent - Full time, Part time would be considered. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrative assistant to join our friendly and professional admin team providing high quality support to over 600 staff within the Integrated Therapies and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams across West Suffolk Hospital and the Local Community Services. We are looking for a conscientious individual with excellent IT skills who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities. You will be able to work independently and within a team. Training and support will be given on all aspects of this administrative position. This varied role will be rewarding and challenging for the successful candidates who will contribute to the efficiency of the department and make an overall difference.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants must have the ability to communicate with staff of all levels with an organised and motivated approach whilst ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A good working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft office applications including Outlook is fundamental to working in this busy environment. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in admin within the healthcare sector, although this is not essential. STAFF CAR PARKING
Staff Car Parking on the West Suffolk Hospital Site is eligible for individuals working outside of the core hours, 07:00 18:30.
For individuals working within the core hours, the Trust offers parking off site at the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, which is serviced by a regular shuttle bus to and from the Hospital. Details of the bus timetable can be found in the on-line starter pack on the West Suffolk Hospital website.
This parking restriction does not apply if an individual is required to work on a weekend or if they are required to complete on call duties within their role.
