About the Role
This key position blends managerial and clinical responsibilities to ensure exceptional services are delivered to clients with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD and ADHD. You will lead a team of around 50 associate clinicians, including doctors, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership for your team of approximately 50 associate clinicians for around 50% of the working day.
* Support the recruitment of associate clinicians through clinical screening calls and trial clinics.
* Offer guidance to your team on the day-to-day operations of the clinics.
* Maintain professional responsibility for delivering high-quality assessments for neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD and/or ADHD) across various clinical models.
* Serve in a clinical advisory capacity to assist associate clinicians in providing exceptional neurodevelopmental assessments.
* Fulfill an agreed activity contract, performing a set number of clinical sessions per week (1, 2, or 3 days), at either the Canterbury or Basingstoke clinic sites.
* Conduct clinical audits of service performance, including user surveys and evaluations, and assist in compiling and sharing the results for feedback.
Person Specification:
* A highly skilled clinician (Doctor, Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist) with extensive experience in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly autism and/or ADHD.
* Demonstrated ability to support a team in delivering high-quality services to children and families.
* Familiarity with the structure, systems, and pathways of private and NHS healthcare across the UK (e.g., NHS England, ICBs, NHS trusts).
