Location: Near Diss, Norfolk
Shift Patterns: 6.00am - 18.00pm, Day Shifts, 2-2-3 pattern working 7 days out of 14!!

Hales Group are working with a leading client on the outskirts of Diss, Norfolk, to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This role involves utilising your electrical and mechanical expertise to ensure machinery operates at peak performance. Do you have a knack for troubleshooting, reactive and planned maintenance and knowledge of industrial machinery? We want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across the plant.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, collaborating with supervisors to minimise disruptions.
Conduct scheduled maintenance and tests as per the PPM schedule.
Maintain accurate records in the Planned Maintenance System, ensuring all updates are logged.
Fault-find and diagnose production equipment issues.
Support plant start-up and shutdown processes.
Address emergency breakdowns, keeping downtime to a minimum.
Uphold ISO standards and foster effective communication across teams. Company Benefits:

Proactive individuals with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
Previous experience in a production environment, with the ability to work on industrial machinery.
Independent problem-solvers who can take initiative when needed.
Flexibility to handle emergency callouts and overtime as part of a rota system.
