Auto Electrical Technician – Solihull Location: Solihull Salary: From £18 - £20 per hour (depending on experience) Shifts: 12 shifts 6 days week, days and nights available Contract Type: Ongoing, Outside IR35 (Limited Company or Umbrella) E-ppl is a leading supplier of managed services within the automotive industry, partnering with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the UK and internationally. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Auto Electricians to join our team, supporting our customer based in Solihull on an ongoing contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams Modifying electrical circuits, loom building, and installation Removing, fitting, and upgrading interior and exterior vehicle components Running diagnostics on vehicles Working with advanced technologies, including P/HEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) and M/HEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles) Requirements: High school diploma and relevant auto electrical qualification (or equivalent) Proven experience as an auto electrician Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems Ability to work in confined spaces and solve complex problems Proficiency with electrical diagnostic equipment Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently A proactive and efficient approach to work Benefits: Competitive starting rate from £18 to £20 per hour after performance review Weekend overtime opportunities available at a premium rate Ongoing contract with potential for extension Flexible working arrangements paid via Limited Company or Umbrella Company (Outside IR35) How to Apply: If you’re a skilled Auto Electrician and you want to take your career to the next level, E-ppl would love to hear from you E-ppl Limited is an equal opportunities organisation.
